Carers UK is a strong political voice for carers in Westminster, working to bring real change for carers in areas including health and social care, equalities, employment and benefits. Carers UK:
- Champions carers’ needs and wishes to parliamentarians, across government departments and through our role supporting the All Party Parliamentary Group on Carers
- Lobbies to deliver new support and protections for carers through government consultations and by working with MPs and Peers to amend legislation on its passage through parliament
- Works with all parties to ensure that carers are a key part of their election manifestos
