ACE National
Learning for Living was developed as a part of the first phase of the ACE National partnership, led by Carers UK. ACE is now in the second phase of the project, where we are testing and developing new ways of delivering services to allow enable carers to work.
NIACE
NIACE has a broad remit to promote lifelong learning opportunities for adults. NIACE works to develop increased participation in education and training particularly for those who do not have easy access because of barriers of class, gender, age, race, language and culture, learning difficulties and disabilities or insufficient financial resources.
Learning and Skills council
The LSC are responsible for planning and funding high-quality vocational education and training for everyone.
These are useful guides and reports that give the policy background to the broader issues of carers and learning.
