The NHS Centre for Involvement is looking for people to join its Editorial Panel and comment on its newsletter. Take part and help shape the way that NHS professionals involve carers in their work.
The NHS Centre for Involvement supports NHS staff and organisations to work with patients, carers and the public better and help make changes based on their information. The NHS now employs a lot of professionals to involve and consult with patients and carers - the centre produces information and good practice to help them do their jobs effectively.
The Centre produces a monthly e-newsletter and wants to get patient and carers' views on the news items - is the information understandable, clear and jargon-free? Is it written in a style and format which makes sense to carers, and would encourage carers to get involved in local services?
The newsletter is not very long, so all that's involved is reading the draft text and providing comments to the Centre for Involvement.
The newsletter is produced electronically so all you need is a computer and access to the Internet. There is no travel involved - feedback is via a monthly phone conference, or by email.
