ACE National
Just five years ago carers and employment issues were not high on the public policy agenda. To address this Carers UK brought together a partnership of public, private and not for profit organisations to carry out research, change public policy and improve how carers are supported in work.
The ACE National partnership, led by Carers UK, worked to support the inclusion of carers in training and work between 2002 and 2007. The work was funded by the European Social Fund's Equal programme.
