Nothing to write home documents the heyday of the British holiday postcard and editors Michelle Abadie and Susan Beale are kindly donating part of the proceeds to Carers UK. The book is a compilation of John Hinde postcards and the messages written on them by holidaymakers between 1960s and 1980s. Celebrating the exquisiteness of the everyday, it is a photographic album, a social record, an historical document, humorous tourism, a celebration of Britain, a trip down memory lane.

Celebrities including Jo Brand, Ruby Wax and Richard Briers wrote messages on John Hinde postcards, which were then auctioned at the book launch, raising more than £900 for Carers UK. More details here.
